Rise Mascara Review

As someone with incredibly sensitive eyes, finding the perfect mascara has always been a challenge. Most mascaras make my eyes red and watery, which is not a great look. Enter Milk Rise Mascara, a great thickening mascara that is safe for sensitive eyes.

Pros:

👁️ Gentle for Sensitive Eyes: The standout feature of Milk Rise Mascara is its eye-friendly formula. It’s one of the few mascaras I’ve encountered that doesn’t make my eyes red or watery. This alone is a significant win in my book.

🌟 Thickening, Darkening and Lifting: Milk Rise Mascara excels at adding volume and depth to your lashes. It gives a rich, dark color to your lashes that really enhances your eyes, making them pop. Also, very few clumps, which can be an issue with a good thickening mascara. I do also notice that it gives my eyelashes a nice lift along.

Cons:

📏 Limited Lengthening: While it’s great for thickening and darkening, I didn’t notice any significant lengthening effect.

💧 Dries Out Quickly: My biggest gripe with this mascara is its longevity. It tends to dry out faster than other brands I’ve tried. Because of this, I typically only by the travel/small size. This way I save a little cash and don’t risk it drying out before I run out. Keep in mind that I don’t use mascara frequently, so this might not be an issue if you use it daily.

Milk Rise Mascara contains several emollients that can help to condition and possibly strengthen eyelashes such as Glycerin, Monoi Oil and Marigold Extract. Milk Rise Mascara is also free of any irritants or harmful ingredients, again reiterating that this is a good mascara for sensitive eyes.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I’d rate Milk Rise Mascara at 3 out of 5 stars for the general public, taking into account its quick drying and limited lengthening capabilities. However, when considering its compatibility with sensitive eyes, for me it’s a 4 out of 5 stars. For those of us who struggle with mascara due to sensitivity and dryness, this mascara is a lifesaver.
